Founded in 1986, local artisanal goat-cheese company Belle Chevre has won numerous awards & national accolades for its products. Favorites include pimiento, honey, cinnamon & other flavors. In 2013, the company renovated a 100-year-old cotton warehouse in downtown Elkmont, where visitors can enjoy tastings and guided tours.
