Located on three acres in historic Mooresville (pop. 58), 1818 Farms is named for the year the town was incorporated–one year before Alabama statehood. Animal residents include Babydoll Southdown sheep, a Nubian goat, cats, hens, a pot-bellied pig, mini pigs & Great Pyrenees guardian dogs. In an adjacent field, over 5,000 flowers are grown for beauty today & seeds for the future. In addition, 1818 Farms sells bath & beauty products that are handmade & hand-packaged in Alabama and offers events such as workshops, farm-to-table dinners & more.
